Nice Oval Pantry Box

New England, ca. 1820-1850, original very pleasing dry bittersweet paint.

Pine top and bottom with ash or white oak side wall. Square nail and wooden peg joinery. Unusually long profile, about 9 5/8 inches long x 5 5/8 wide x 2 3/8 tall.
